Managing and Analyzing Comments/Rating from CME

You can manage the comments and rating which might have been submitted from your website through the Tridion Content Manager Explorer (CME). You can do following from the CME:

  • Add/Edit/Delete a comment for a page or component from CME
  • Moderate (Accept/Reject etc.) a comment from CME
  • See specific rating submission details
  • Set package variables pushed to the stack by the default “Enable User Generated Content Processing” TBB

For this, you need to open the desired page or component in CME and navigate to the “Comments” or “Ratings” tab in it accordingly. (If you have installed the UGC, these tabs should automatically appear for every page and component)

Control Room and Comments/Ratings Analytic

For analyzing the comments and ratings submitted to various pages on your website/s you can fairly uses the Control Room option in the CME as shown below:

You can get following information on the Control Room:

  • User Engagement Over Time – Showing Graphical representation of comments and rating activity on your website at a particular period of time
  • Most commented content
  • Comments waiting for the moderation
  • Top Rated Content
  • Worst Rated Content
  • Filter data based on date and publications
